I'm about to do a major switch. I'm going to move everything in my current case that I have now, into a Cheiftec Dragon I just recently purchased. The thing I'm afraid of is mounting on the Mobo to the case. I read a thread relating to some one shorting out their Mobo. Is there any tips or stuff I should watch out for when mounting? Also is it better to put on the cpu and heatsink on before mounting the Mobo to the case or after?

Make sure you put the standoffs on correctly.

I've grounded out 2 motherboards not putting them in all the way. First one lost the PSU fuse and 2nd survived with no ill effects.

On cases wo/ mobo trays I put the cpu/sink in after I mount the mobo in the case, and w/ trays I mount the mobo on the tray then the cpu/sink.

cause should come with metal standoffs, if not, it'll have a built in standoffs. it's not a problem, you'll notice if the mobo is flush against the case or not. if it is, then you've got problems, if it's not, then it's all peachy.
