i am planning on getting the bigger hd for my 360 but before i get it i want to know if there is any way i can get the data off my old hd ie save games and such onto the new drive. i have the ability to be able to use 2 360's if i have to. does anyone know what to do?

I know Microsoft use ot have hd transfer cables whent he elite first came out. I would call them up and ask them if they still have those and if you could get one.

If you buy the bigger hard drive it comes with a cable to move your data, from your old hard drive, to the new one. However, it's not a copy, it's a complete move, and the 20 gig drive gets completely formatted.

If you want to copy game saves between them you'll probably have to buy a memory card, or one of the accessories that lets you copy/backup saves and stuff, to your PC, and then back again (I can never remember the name(s) of them).
