It seems that this is the day of issues with the entire Outlook backend.
My boss decided that CRM 4.0 was a good way to go and went and got the licenses. I just got done installing everything on my test bed, got all the mix ups worked out and finally installed it onto our production SBS box.
Now each user has a bunch of contacts on their Outlook account, (prob about 100 or so contacts for each user, 10 users... so yeah)
Now I've been following guide after guide on how to import the CSV file from Outlook into CRM. It appears there is mapping issues.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to iron these damn things out.
I broke it down to the basic "firstname" and "lastname" fields and it said it still needs a map... on the guide i was following it said that the map should go to "automatic"... yeah not so much.
So after that long winded intro the short question...
Has anyone here imported contact information from Outlook 2003 to CRM 4.0 with any luck? Any tricks I need to know about?
TIA
