Transfer Hotmail emails to Gmail?

So im wanting to transfer my Emails from Hotmail without simply forwarding them (id like to keep the original address in them) i found a guide here that used Eudora and Hotmail Popper but the guide is very vague and i couldnt get it to work. Is there another way or a better guide out there? After a hour and a half searching through google and the Eudora forums i have come up with nothing on how to get this to work or any other options. Please HELP!

Or just email everyone you know through your Hotmail address and tell them about your new Gmail address, and periodically check Hotmail for any outliers you might actually want to read.
