I know a lot of case modding goes on here, and I know a lot of people update cases often, but what do you people do with those cases? Trade/Sell them? If so, what's on the market? I feel like the Trade/For Sale forum is bombarded with "bump" threads I would never know and I know I can't be the only one in here interested in someones old case possibly. I mean hell, I still use a mid tower.

Excuse me if this isn't the correct place to post this.
 
I still have a Mid-ATX whitebox tower that housed my Athlon XP 1800+ until I sold the motherboard & CPU on eBay.

I was using a NZXT Apollo Black Mid-ATX case with 3 high CFM 120mm blue LED case fans from Rosewill until upgrading to the HAF-X. I'm going to post that, along with several other items on the trading forum tomorrow. Need to get my posts up : /
 
Some cases are sold in the forums but most are sold locally on CraigsList due to high shipping cost.
 
Yeah, thats the biggest issue I've run into with eBay. I'm trying to sell my tower with new components installed. In my case, I have a Phenom II X4 955 & a Phenom II x3 720 to go with that tower.

Trying to get my friend to list some of his things.
 
Wait, one system is running 2 CPUs? Is it a server?

And, yeah I figured the high shipping cost. But I mean for example, I'm in the market right now for a full tower. But I have done some modding to my case (just some painting and fan holes) and would sell it. I just figured some people are either looking for some or need some. I would also like to hear what others have done with them, story wise. Everyone enjoys a good story
 
Oh okay I understand now. Words were playing mind games.
Anyways. I just wish people would start trading/buying cases or case mods they've done or old cases people don't use anymore. Could be an interesting way to start another project. Or just upgrade cases
 
I love Craigslist but my market is so freakin' small. I live in the Albany, NY area. Everyone is looking to buy a $10 computer.
 
I've been trying to sell my 800d on craigslist because I want to go down to a mid tower. I get nothing but $100 offers -_-.

I do not believe $100 is that far off. I mean for most used computer parts 40% to 60% is about the range I would pay for an item shipped. So by calculations using neweggs current price that is $111 US to $167US.
