I am trying to help my girlfriends boss with his existing web pages. One site he has all the hosting info and everything is ok. The other site I can log into godaddy and see that he owns the domain but that is it. The site is up and running. It is not hosted on godaddy and it is not listed as being hosted by the company that hosts his other site. It's obviously up and being hosted somewhere. Is there a way I'm not thinking of to find the hosting info? This is an old site so he doesn't really remember what happened with all this.

after trying some searches the answer I get is that the website is hosted by the other website.

looking into this it looks like it may be a dedicated server as it has its own dedicated IP. the rDNS is indeed the other websites name but that is due to a misconfiguration (it must have been moved at some point and the rDNS never updated)

One website is probobly on a VPS with cPanel or something similar that's hosting the other sites.

Sorry, been away for the weekend. The site I can't find the host for is hagenlawoffices.com. When I search it says that it is hosted by kctrafficlaw.com which is the site that I have access to. At this point I want to find a way to access the first page and just redirect it to kctrafficlaw.com.

I have sent yo a PM with the name of the hosts, running a traceroot does say its kctrafficlaw.com but that is a rDNS error.

That was one of of the things I asked him about and he is saying that he doesn't think he sends money to anyone for hosting it. I am wondering about that Full City name though.

My best guess is HostMySite.com

But you might contact them and they might tell you that your customer isn't their customer, i.e.: it's a reseller of HostMySite.com

Maybe I've went at this the wrong way. Can't I just get on godaddy and get them to change the a records to point to kctrafficlaw.com's ip and it will redirect?

Yea, you should be able to just go to the domain manager for that account and forward the domain to this one. You shouldn't have to change any DNS settings if you just use the simple forwarding tool they have.
