I currently have a TP-Link Archer BE900. I want to connect my Archer BE3600 to use as an WiFi Extender + Switch. Do I connect my BE900 into the BE3600 WAN or LAN1?

Lan port. Disable DHCP on the be900, and set a static IP. Ensure 802.11r is enabled on both routers, and that they have the same SSID and password

Thanks! I'll give it a go tomorrow.

1. Disable DHCP

2. How do I set-up static IP? My ISP already assigned me a static IP because of Plex.

3.What's 802.11R?

That's your wan IP. Your be900 needs it's own IP assigned on your network. Say 192.168.0.2. you should remove that number from your be3600 DHCP server pool to prevent conflicts.

If you don't do this, then your be900 will recieve a random IP from your be3600 and you'll never be able to guess it to get to the web interface.
3.What's 802.11R?
802.11R is fast roaming, it's what makes the "mesh" work.

I can be more descriptive later when I have a keyboard

So, that unit, probably just has an Access point mode and a wizard that will tell you what to do.

Yes, plug the CAT6 from teh BE3600 to the BE900 into the lan port on each.
