Didnt know if this was the right place but being my question has to really do wiht touchscreens i put it here, if im wrong, my bad :(

Ok so ive desided that im goin to build a comp thats soul purpose is to play music. Im goin to load all my CDs anyway...

I dont want to have a keyboard or mouse hooked up to it so i was thinking about a touchscreen, now how do they work excatly? is it an overlay that goes over a monitor or ?

The set up im goin for is i just go to the screen, select what i want to play and hit play with out having to use a keyboard and/or mouse. Nice little self contained unit.
 
You can go about buying a touchscreen monitor thats up and ready to go or you can get a touchscreen add on to your current monitor.

How it works is pretty much a panel over a monitor that senses your motion which is connected to a controller that interprets it. It's almost the same thing as a mouse.
 
You can add an adaptor to your current screen and make it touch screen?

Also, if you plan on using it entirely for audio, than *Touchtone Audio System Software* which is pretty good might be good for you.
