I played this game when it was in beta (about 2-3 weeks before launch I believe) but wasn't all that impressed. I didn't really play for long though because the performance was spotty on my system (below). Did the retail version improve this at all for those who played the game just before launch?

it sucks as much as it ever did... stay away ... far far away...
 
Sorry guys, that's what I get for making a quick post before running out the door. Yes, I meant The Lord of the Rings Online.
 
I payed 25 quid for it and after playing it for an hour I had no incentive to log in the next evening, if that's any help in making up your mind.
 
I played it for about 20 hours and then uninstalled it and haven't thought of it since
 
It's like every other mmo. It's not the greatest, but then again it's not really that bad either. Worth playing if you like lord of the rings. After awhile, even WoW can get boring also, even if it is the most popular online game out there.
