The spec sheet indicates yes. If you look at the userguide on page 57 there are instructions for upgrading the memory in your notebook.
Make sure you get the right kind of memory for your notebook. According to the spec sheet that is PC2700 (DDR 333) SDRAM 2.5v SODIMM.

I think that you can in general mix brands. Just so long as both brands are decent quality. Any brand worth buying will offer a lifetime warranty. I've had 2 laptops in which I upgraded with a different brand of memory that had the same basic specs and had no problems. A good place to look for different brands of laptop memory is www.newegg.com cause alot of people shop there and just about every brand they offer has a fair amount of user reviews that will help you decide which brand to get.
Newegg also has some one day sales that are pretty good. I got my 1 Gig of Kingmax memory for about 125$ including shipping and handling.
