Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200 Serien.. change CPU?

Hi,

I got a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200 Series from a friend and he might sell it to me quite cheap. It's got a P3 500 Mhz in it. Does anyone know if it's possible to replace that with a P3 800 or 1000 Mhz?

might want to check into thermal specs on that...thats a pretty hefty jump

Well, the 500 Mhz P3 hat a thermal guideline of 16.8 W and the 800 Mhz one of 25.9 W, Shouldn't be a big problem. The 1000 Mhz one with 34W may be one, though...
