Yea, I have the same problem with my restore CDs. I pop them in and they say WRONG MACHINE. Alright, whatever.
Anyway, I called up Toshiba and I was ready to buy a new set from them when they told me I have an Authorized Toshiba Repair Center close to me. I just asked if I can have the CDs instead of driving for an hour and they told me no, go to the repair center.
Assholes.

They are right, you need to go to a local ASP. The motherboard has a string stored in the DMI table that is read by the restore CD. It's a method of copy protection. More than likely the string is not written correctly on your system.
Only ASP's have access to the program needed to change the DMI field.
