Hi all

I was oiginally going to add an LG DVD/CD-RW to my system since I needed an extra optical drive. I looked on the store's site though, and saw that they had the Toshiba R5112 for only 15 bucks more, which can write cd's, read DVD's, and write DVD-r's.

I already have a Liteon DVD+-RW running, and it's great, but one drive isn't enough. I guess my question is, how is the quality of toshiba's optical drives.

Thanks in advance.

Toshibas are usually very quiet and reliable, but their performance is never industry-leading. For most users, that's just fine.
