Just got a Toshiba 37Hl67 37" Lcd, and must say it is a real treat as far as hdtvs are concerned. It has excellent color blacks are pretty solid, tonight I am going to check the back for any bleeding but it looks like there is none cause the dark scenes in The Guardian were well done.

The three HDMI it has are then satisfactory offering the ability to hook up an array of accessories, but if I run out of Hdmi then there are two 1080i component. For older items there are two composite, one d-sub, and a coaxial for sdtv (though I have no plans to watch tv on this, mostly just game playing). The color selection is superb allowing for choosing between 3 pre-set modes, and then it also has manual color adjustment which I found useful. All in all I am loving this thing thus far

Awesome monitor, how much you get it for?

Also have you tried connecting a game console to it? I'm wondering how it fares in that department.

not sure what he paid for it, but I found it on Froogle for anywhere from about $950 to $1200.

Rofl I was just looking at these TVs and was going to post a thread.

:D

The 42HL167 is a beast!

It looks promising:

HL167 line: Stepping up to the middle tier of the Regza line delivers models with full 1080p resolution (including a pixel-for-pixel native resolution mode that purists will no doubt enjoy). In addition to all of the features in the entry-level HL67 line (above), the HL167 models add ColorBurst (wide color gamut) and CE-Link compatibility (the latter with infrared passthrough, for increased interdevice communication). Models will be available in 42-inch (42HL167, March/April), 47-inch (47HL167, June/July), and 52-inch (52HL167, June/July) screen sizes.

This monitor looks interesting.....
*Raise fist in the air* Damn you!!! *start crying like a little girl*

Well paid almost a $1000, haven't done any console but considering renting a 360 and doing like gears of war thing7s is though don't think they include the high-def accessories when you rent. I would think that with the hdtv stuff a ps3 or 360 would look great, though upon further research the westy 37 would probably be better i just didn't get that one due to some mis-trust i have in the company.
