I have a firewall installed which blocks "un known" ports, this works fine but then clients
use a proxy example xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 they can download torrents or what ever they want

how can i block this?

Are you having problems with people downloading .torrent files or people actually using the bitorrent network?

Force clients to use a proxy you have setup and set squid to block .torrent files? You will not be able to download from the bittorrent network if the correct ports are not open.

linux UTM firewall such as untangle or astaro or endian will block anonymous proxies and you can set to block protocols as well as unknown ports or whatever. That would be the simplest way to go about this me thinsk.
