Well.... imagine a helicopter taking off.... then multiply that by 10... then add a few lawnmowers...

the 12V version runs on 2.6A - that's 31.2W!!! unfortunately they don't list the CFM for 12V version, although for 24V version max airflow is 330CFM!... could we dare assume that at 12V it makes... 165CFM?!... holy shit!

its fu*king loud . well his is actually the AC version that is exactly the same, and for the AC one it says 66.5 DB, just to give you something to compare to the vantec tornado 92mm runs at 56.4 DB. THey also have fan grill, filters ect for these fans http://www.comairrotron.com/pdf/accessories.pdf NM i just looked and I dont think the accessories are for this fan.

i forgot the term for it but wouldnt that fan have a large amount of airflow being lost in the center, the middle of that fan is HUGE!!

I would think that would really only matter on fan mounted to a heat sink, where the air flow has to be even to cool the CPU right. If that thing's a case fan, and it pumps X amount of CFM, it doesn't really matter WHERE it pumps it... Just the fact that it's moving that much into the case... If you're going to mount a 176mm fan on your heat sink, well then, yeah, I guess it would... But good luck getting that thing to fit

That is crazy, I can't really think of any PRACTICAL uses for it though.
That would be one large ass case fan.
