I was wondering about putting 4 80 mm tornados into my case to push air though it... how loud would that be if I set them to the lowest setting I could with a fan controller and how much air would they push? I know they are rated at like 88 cfm? or something like that. Or would it just be better to go with other fans and not have them hooked up to a fan controller? I have an antec true power powersupply so my computer is fairly loud right now

Well with a fan controller it should be as quiet as you want. As far as CFMs I would think that at quiet (which is usally half speed) you should get about 40-50 CFMs.

I set mine at half speed on my nexus fan controller, any lower and a little whine noise comes out which isn't fun at all.

I have 2 tornados in my case a 120 and 2 80mm well i guess thats 3 hu??? Well anyway they are VERY VERY loud peaple have told me they thought there was a airplane rev ving outside my house it is soo loud.

Just a heads up tornados = LOUD in any situation

Nah, mines at half with my controller, not very loud at all actually.

I rewired my 8cm Tornado to 7 Volts today & it was not bad @ all. Downside is the rpm monitoring quit working & the Asus Post Reporter would bitch on startup that the cpu fan was not working. I wasn't comfortable w/ this scenario so I put it back to 12V---will be buying a Nexus or Sunbeam soon. ;)
One interesting fact is that I am using a Speeze FalconRock on this system (it's a secondary/ backup rig). I tried the low cfm/ stock alumimum fan that came on the 'sink. My temps were over low 40ish w/ an AIUHB 2100 @ 2.2ghz/ 1.84VCore. W/ the Tornado on "full blast" the temp dropped almost 10C!!! Idle now is 31C. @ 7V it wuz circa 36C. I havta admit, it's a helluva fan. ;)
BTW, the FalconRock gives performance similar to my T'Right AX-7's w/ the Tornado installed. They're definitely a good deal for low dollar 'sink.
