Thought I'd give this game another go, played through the main plot a while ago on the hardest difficulty. Are there any *must have* mods out there?
 
First, you'll want to know about the Ultimate Modlist Page, if you haven't found it already.

My info may be dated since I played in the 1.12 days (I see it's up to 1.15 so I'm not sure what all has changed) but back then, the must-have mods for me were the Gem Icon Mod, which adds roman numerals on the gems so you can tell them apart, and the Four More Stashes mod (scroll down the page to mod #11) which added four more stashes.
