how do you guys bleed a top mounted radiator and make sure you keep the air out of it
 
while running the water system try getting the res. higher then the rad with the lid off the res. . note: air bubbles are lighter then liquid. the bubbles well float up to the highest point in the water system

i tilted the rad so the out post was as high as possible i think i got most of them out.....my res cant get higher than the rad
 
tilt the box on its side and lay it down then run util the bubbles hit the T-line or REZ
 
Bottom line Modder is that you can rotate your entire machine so that your res is on "top". Then turn on the water loop and watch the bubbles come to the res. You should also shake your rad and other components. I recommend turning your pump to max speed initially to force trapped air to be purged from components.

You can detach your res as stated so that you keep the top of the res facing "up" and your pump wont draw air out of it:).
 
The other possibility would be going back in time and spending 5 more minutes thinking about loop order and ease of maintenance but yeah, shaking your case around is a close second :cool:
