Top 3 ATI cards ?

hello guys,
i wanna get ur opinion on which the top 3 ATI cards around for now.... apart from the X800...(no money to afford that :( )
 
Why not move from ATi to nVidia's 6600GT AGP? I doubt you'll be playing on 1,6k x 1,28k :)
 
my old 9800 pro ran HL2 great. I really don't know why I just bought a 6800 GT
 
Werd, I switched from a 9800 pro to a 6800 gt, but theres one catch: my 9800 burnt out.

is the 6600 GT in the same price range as the 9800 ?

and what about other ATI cards like the X700, X600 ?
 
6600GT is actually cheaper it appears. Pricewatch has them starting at 180. X700pro is around the same performance as a 9800p, X700XT beats it and is like a 6600GT. X600 is crap - 9600pro on a pci-x bus.
 
My 9700 Pro OCed runs HL2 w/ 2AA and 2AF @ 1280x1024 and looks wonderful.
But I've got a X800XT PCIe sitting behind me waiting for the AX8 PCIe A64 board to be released. Talk about burning a hole in the back of my head while playing on this older card.

As for top cards. Yea the 6600 AGP Rocks for the buck man that thing looks nice, Buddy just got one. Under that Perhaps a 9700Pro the price diffrence is two slim thou to not get the better card of the 6600 AGP
