tool bar keeps freezing

Hello all,

I keep having this wierd problem where whatever window I have active works fine, be it Internet Explorer, game, whatever... but while that's working fine... my tool bar at the bottom of my screen just stays frozen... I can't click on start or any of my programs... and it usually requires a resart of my computer... what could be causing this?

Do you have any kind of spyware running? It sounds like the main explorer.exe app might be freezing up.
 
No, I wouldn't disable my anti-virus application. I meant, do you think you might have some spyware running, as in, you should do a scan with whatever spyware application you have, to remove any spyware.
