Here's the deal... I reseated my big typhoon on the opty 165 and temps dropped by 12c! I knew something was wrong :\. Anyways I have OCZ Gold 2-2-2-5 ram which has BH-5 chips. I'm running 300x9 = 2700 Mhz @ 1.55v to the CPU and it loads at ~43c and idles at 30-32c. My ram I decided to kick up a notch, so i am now using a 5:6 divider and have at 245 Mhz, keeping my 2-2-2-5 timings @ 3.7v. I know this ram is able to take a lot of voltage, just wanted to know if I'm pushing it toooooo far. An eclipse reply would be nice ;)...

as a follow up i dropped it to 3.4v and it's prime stable (about 2 hours so far) there. Same speed and timings.

Id say you're definitely safe at 3.4. Have you got the regular OCZ gold or the VX version? (extra voltage warrenty up to 3.5v). I run my VX at 225mhz, 1.5-2-2-5 3.2v (the most my board can supply without the 4v jumper) and it doesn't break a sweat. Nice stuff
