Too much or too little?

I recently bought artic silver 5 and applied it to my CPU (Athlon 64 3000+) and GPU (1800XT).

I'm monitoring the temps and now they are 10C higher then what they were before. Should I redo the compound with less or with more?

Actually as I'm posting this I'm realizng my x1800XT is reaching 80C compared to 64C before I messed with it. Gonna tear down my rig again and answer my own question!

yeah, on thye cpu, just alittle drop. On the GPU, even smaller drop, and spread it.
