Im about to build my second computer that will be water cooled. I purchased a Chenbro Case
I also ordered Black Ice Extreme 2 that i am planning on putting at the top of the case. I have the Black Ice Extreme left over from my old computer that i want to put in. It doesnt stop their i also thought about putting the Black Ice Extreme 3 on the bottom. The BI3 going straight to the processor, the BI2 going to the duel 6800gt's, and the BI going to the gpu. The thing is that the BI3 would have to go on the bottom of the case blowing down and out....would this have enough heat to cause damage to my floors...or would putting a simple towel or something of that nature under it be efficent enough to save the floors?

Unless your floor is made out of a very very soft wood, without any coating... the heat transfer from the radiator will have no ill effect on your floor.

so are you going to be doing three different loops then? You would probably have to split that into at least two loops to maintain good flow. And your case will be a mess with all that tubing needed to be routed around it, but hey, if you wanna spend teh cash, I say go for it, and show us some piccies when you are done.

I'd say that the extreme 3 and extreme 2 are enough, thats 5-10 fans on those alone.

pics? how in the world can u fit 3 dual 120mm rads in taht case....unless ur not running a cd drive and like 2 hds max~....man that must be a tight setup

Well, the case is still "in completing" mode. Iono if you guys have seen my worklog. But ya, fitting three of those things in there is gonna be intense, i test fitted them and they work tho so ;) Just follow my worklog and youll see it when it goes down. the case isnt even a server tower either LOL

You have 3 dual 120mm rads in the same chembro case that i previously showed at the top of this thread? Where are you planning on putting them?

The BIX 2 or 3 alone would be more than enough for your application. KISS
Simplicity is golden.

And splitting up cooling loops is for retards.
