Ive been playing with my new processor, and right now with prime 95 running and a few other things, its at 53 C, guess that would be load because its never gone above 54. Is this to hot?
 
And actually these mobile procs can withstand a lot of heat is what my friend told me. I dont remember the numbers but I know its pretty high. I have a friend who has a 1900+ processor with stock cool (too cheap to buy a new heatsink and fan) that thing idles (on hot days) at 65c.
 
My 2500+ mobile gets pissy and crashes if I let it's temp get over 52c, but that problem is long gone now to a new powersupply with better fans and some case modding with better airflow. The problem might have been due to my 9700pro getting too hot because it would only crash in WarCraft 3 or America's Army.
Now my max temp at load is around 46c. You might want to concider tweaking your case's ariflow.

Tmax is 100*C...@ stock operation...

That zalman probably isn't helping...although it is probably quieter than other HSF solutions...

if i look at that link... i am not sure.. becasue i forgot to write down my stepping before i put my hsf on (i was too exicted and wanted to play with my new toy) but i think my cpu is also a Q tmax.. so it would handle 100c ?? does that mean i can just crank the crap out of it and let it run at 80c or something? somehow that doesn't sound right....
that chart confuses me though.. i don't even see the 35 watt 2400+ on it.. so i am not sure if i am seeing y 2200+ 35 watt...
