I was just browsing outpost.com and came up upon a fx6800 oc. I've never heard of it myself but the price seems too good to be true. Was wondering what your thoughts on it is. bfg fx6800 oc
 
Is the FX6800 the same thing as the regular BFG 6800? The FX is what's bothering me. I've seen the 6800's going for 300 by BFG, so i thought it might have been an error
 
I tried to order it when it was in stock, they emailed me the next day saying it was on backorder for 5-6 days, then 2 days later they emailed me saying it was on backorder for 30 days or more. I just canceled my order since I did not want to wait that long and I had even ordered overnight shipping.
 
I think FX is a typo. That is the 6800nu. Outpost has had that price a month or so ago. Great card at a great price. Does that card have better cooling than other 6800nu? Most cards can be overclocked to that anyway. Not many have lifetime warranty though.
 
Its real. Outpost has deals on the 6800 all the time. Also the "fx" part is a typo. Its just "6800"
 
It was quite hard to find out, I really had to look.... but that card is an AGP card.

Just thought you should know that in case you missed it.


EDIT:

Under features it says:

"PCI Express support
AGP 8X
"

That is weird.

Then under system requirements it says you need an AGP slot!
 
thats what i hate about smaller sites ... from the above post ...outpost isnt a small site but relative to what im saying
