well i promise to share all testing results, these SSD were provided by The SSDReview and Micron/OWC for an upcoming world exclusive test of the LSI 9265-8i raid card. Les is really knocking it out of the park with the coordination of the efforts, he has also gotten Samsung to sign on and send some 2tb drives to test with it as well! Once we receive the card, we will really get to work!

we are getting a world exclusive testing period with the 9265-8i and that is a huge thing! Considering LSI has sold 400,000 units of the 9260, to get exclusive testing with the next-gen 9265 is gonna be Awesome

LOL this is the test bench, it is a pile of gear! LOL if you look to the left at the edge of the case, that is a rack with 8 vertex gen 1 in there...so there is 24 SSD in that picture :) the vertex are connected to a watercooled 1880ix with 4 gb cache LOL

thx fellas.
one double rad, two triple rads and a honda radiator. three pumps, setup in one loop for gpus on the honda rad, and then two loops that share the same resivoir down on the desk. dual parrallel setup. with raid card/ram and fullboard motherboard block on one loop and the cpu on another.

here is temps before and after the raid card cooling. pay attention to the CPU and the controller temp. cpu went on water, the controller i swapped the HS out for a copper one. the 1880ix runs hot, they have even went back and introduced a new larger HS for it after it was released its so damn hot.

Not so clean IMO :) but connectivity is:

X8DTH-6F = 2 onboard Intel NICS, LSI SAS2008 controller
Additional NICs: Intel E10G41AT2, Mellanox MHEA28-XTC, and Supermicro AOC-STGN-i2S
Additional Storage Controllers: Areca 1680LP, LSI 9211-8i, IBM ServeRAID M1015

Still drooling over your setup.
