To those with wii

Couldn't get one

Did anybody try connecting their wii to a LCD monitor through component (if available) or through any other methods? How are the quality?

I recently saw a picture of wii connected to a dell 2405 or 2407 (could be 20" but don't think so) and the picture quality didn't seem too bad.

2405 with just composite out on it....

there's a ton of ghosting and tearing.... but otherwise... we'll try on my component cables when they come

I'm pretty interested in this too. Partly want a 24"er for when the Wii arrives.

its not too bad with composite but not great. i'd rather play on a CRT TV.

btw, has anyone been able to get 480p out of the composite cable? in my wii, i can't change the setting to EDTV/480p its grayed out. i figure once i get component that option will be available?

Got my component cables yesterday and the difference on my 2407 is so much better. I'm not experiencing component issues that others have reported with the 2407. The clarity compared to the composite hooked up to it makes everything completely playable now.
