To Repair Or Not?

Ok I have logitech Z-680's and the rear left speaker stoped working after playing around with all the stuff and Logitech support, the problem is the connector in the back of the sub, I was hoping it was the ground but alas, its the sigal/positive clip/connector that doesnt work. My warrenty ran out according to logitech, and I cannot find the reciept, and I have had the speakers for just over a year(first time I have had a problem with a logitech product).........anyways should I get them repaired, is it even worth the hassle, or just buy 5500's for about 300$ CAN??
 
Pick up the phone book and see if you can find someone in your area to quote you a price for fixing that connector......
