Hi All,

I am having a bit of a cooling problem, here is my current setup:

FX 55 @ Stock
ASUS A8N32
2GB CORSAIR XMS TWINX2048-3500LLPRO
2x 36GB WD Raptor drives (no raid)
EVGA 7800 GTX KO 256 Video card
P180 case

My CPU and drives are fine, about 48C loaded. But my Video card and Motherboard are hot. 71C for the video and 55C for the MB loaded. I did have 2 7800's but I returned 1 because of the heat, so much I would get lock-ups in games. So I am thinking about switching to a full Koolance setup. The three below are the systems I am thinking about buying.

1. Koolance Exos2
2. Koolance PC3-725BK
3. Koolance PC3-736BK

Anyone else out there go through this and by one of these systems?

What was the heat at load for that one card you returned? I bet it was locking up because of the overclock.

Get a decent intake and exaust set up, put some fans blowing on your HDs and then see if it helps reduce ambient temperatures.
