I just got my first intel based system a p4 2.8C with a Abit IC7-MAX3 now ive always heard that intels are supposed to run cooler so I am a little worried about my temps.

At full load I get very close to 60*C it still runs stable and everything but still has me a bit worried, I am thinking that perhaps I just mounted the HSF wrong perhaps because the HSF usually remains pretty cool when the chip is at 60*C.

However I have remounted the HSF 3 times now with the same results.

I am using silver thermal paste not the pad that came with the HSF btw.

Any suggests would be great. :\
