Is anyone else getting horrible artifacting with Crossfire enabled in Titanfall?

I'm running 2x HD 7870s, and getting the same artifacting the dude who made this video got: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83qaoZ39GSU

His solution was to turn Crossfire off, but a) that sucks and b) the game doesn't run very well at 2560x1600 with only one card :(

Anyone else experiencing this? Are there any other workarounds other than waiting for AMD to hopefully patch it?

Quad-crossfire R9 290x. No issues at all. Game runs like butter.

Butter is a solid

Also hopefullly its not crossfire, Ill be dling this game tomorrow, in the meantime can you try witcher 2 crossfire, it makes this game freeze up bad for me

I was using 13-12, now im using 14.2 v 1.3, same problem, Im going to reinstall windows today see if it helps

I don't think the game has a Crossfire profile. If I enable CrossfireX to run on games without a profile then I get the artifacting. So I just run it on one card and everything is fine.

Cant you work in a Crossfire "profile" in the CCC?
I seem to recall in the gaming folder under 3D applications, you can force Crossfire, it works just like the NVidia control panel.

If not, them it will be sit back and wait until AMD puts something out, which might be two weeks or more.

I also read where this game runs off the Source engine, so you might be able to use the same profile as HL2 or TF2? Maybe DOTA2?

Example....not certain it will work......

1. Open CCC, click on 3D Application Settings, and scroll down to the section called "AMD CrossFire Mode for 3D Applications". Select option: "Use AMD Pre-defined Profile".

2. Select DOTA2.exe application profile.

3. Scroll back up to the top of the Application Profiles section and click <<New Application>> and Save.

4. Find TitanFall folder and open Launcher.exe.

I think he meant the expression, it runs like "a knife going through butter."

Well I solved the issue. The fix was to request a refund on Origin and tell them to QA their products better in the "why are you doing this to us?" survey.

It was stupid of me to assume this issue would have been fixed by launch when there were numerous Youtube videos demonstrating it from the beta.

I'm tired of EA treating paying customers like beta testers. Once they fix the issues in this game I might come back to it.

I'm not even sure how this artifacting came about. I've literally never seen it in any other game like this apart from on dying video cards. I really hope they get this schist fixed soon because even with crossfire turned off there is lighting flickering that sears my eyes like a japanese cartoon.

BTW I used Radeonpro to turn off crossfire for just Titanfall and it still runs pretty well, but damnit I have a 120hz monitor and i need MAXIMUM performance :)

I want to say its an AMD driver issue and not an EA issue.

running 5870 CF on Z77
had super terrible artifacting and disabled CF in AMD Performance tab and all fixed
hope they fix the CF issue

I'm having flickering textures on certain outdoors maps and some artifacts that randomly present themselves when I'm aiming down an optical sight but my issues are not unlike BF4 in its infancy before AMD got a handle on the drivers. Is it unplayable or otherwise problematic? Not at all, its a random issue that at most occurs a quarter of the time and the game otherwise runs well and its enjoyable.

I have 290s and experienced the same issue. I had to disable crossfire and all ok. It is really lame they release a big title without it even working on multiple GPUs.

Yeah, at least this time it's not an AMD CF versus NVIDIA SLI problem...it's an EA/Respawn problem...but it's annoying as hell. The reality that we, as mGPU users, have to accept is that companies are going to test single GPU first and mGPU will ALWAYS be an afterthought. So the waiting game will typically apply for all but the hugest releases. Titanfall is huge, but I feel it is not the "boundaries pusher" graphically like a Battlefield or Crysis release represents.

BTW - link on the Respawn "own up" to the issue...hopefully the patch hits soon and it doesn't nerf a bunch of stuff. The game is really fun.
