Titan at 1802/1953 = 290X at 1466/1730 in 3Dmark11

SS shows the Titan at 1230mhz on the core...........

SS shows the Titan at 1293mhz on the core...........

Because in the SS, Boost wasnt going I assume since it wasnt in 3d mod?

If you look at the EVGA precision it shows 1802.

Actually the Titan wins if you go by the GPU score. I don't know why the user didn't have his CPU overclocked the same with both cards.

1800mhz at 1.2v? Really? Am I supposed to believe that?

hey dont hate the messenger, just linking what people are reporting.

The whole thread is gk110 vs hawaii.

interesting. But really a 400 mhz on the core difference? There has to be more to this SS. Time will tell though. Im looking forward to the results in that thread and results from more people cooling their cards.

Found the SS from Kingpin on HWBot, apparently its legit.

Wonder if the 290x is legit? I really didnt think on a P setting of 3dMark theyd be so far off in clocks. Seems like quite a bit of difference considering that the Titan at 1600p and lower can hang all day if not beat the 290x.

If I had to guess at an explanation it's probably that the Titan becomes bandwidth-limited more quickly than the 290X. No use having the fastest processor in the world if you can't feed it with data.
