Okay, so I bought a Storm Sniper for my new rig. The left sidepanel was a little rough when I first got the case, but i figured it would ease up after a few offs and ons. Now I can't open it at all. It feels like I've still got screws in it. I've dealt with a lot of cases over the years but none like this one. Ive tugged, I've wiggled, I've done everything short of taking tools to the thing in an effort to pry it off. I literally broke a sweat trying to get it open.
There's nothing visibly "catching" on the outside of the case, it just wont budge a millimeter.
I'd rather not mangle the case because I might want to reuse it in the future, but if anyone has any tips for getting this off without scratching the hell out of it, I'm all ears. I'd like to liberate my machine from its clutches and put it into a case with some quality control.
