I decided I want to sleeve my power supply, so I bought myself a brand new 750W Corsair (no sense is sleeving a 500W that I have).
So I took out one of the modular cables I knew I wouldn't need and started experimenting.
I inserted the ATX removal tool, pressed it in, and the connector came right out. Ok, seems simple enough. So I move onto the next and it will not come free no matter what I do with the tool. I end up pulling so hard I separate the wire from the pin (not a big deal because it's just a spare).
But I'd like to have a reliable system down before I attack the main 24 pin connector. I did buy a crimper and spare atx connectors, but still, I'd like to do as little damage as possible.
So are there tricks to removing more stubborn pins? Am I better/best off using a small set a screw drivers?
