Tip: How to remove a scratch from a LCD screen

Hey guys,

because everybody is so helpful here, I want to share this trick:

If you have got a scatch in your TFT, you can nearly "remove" it doing the following:

- Get Hairspray, spray a bit on your finger and see if it is really clear

- Clean, Polish the position where the damage is. You must remove all dirt out of the scratch (important)

- Spray Hairspray on your finger and gently rub it over the scratch.
- Let it dry, repeat this 2, 3 times to really fill out the scratch.

It should reduce the visibility of the scratch by 80-90%

The not-so-faint-of heart could also try this with some clear coat for some more permanent/better solution.
I want to mention at this point that it is not possible to polish a scratch out of the LCD
