• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

A user was selling a CPU on the forums. Heatware was okay but not enough. Anyways i asked for pics w his name and date on it. So far its been several days so i really dont think he has it but i had every intention on buying it.

Should we be worried about these kinds of things.

Paying for something that the seller doesnt even have?

Good thing i used my brain before sending any money

Its nice when someone can supply pictures, that shows they do have possession of the item, but its still not a guarantee they will ship it to you..

Always check their refs, get good contact info and most of all, follow your instincts...if something feels wrong, just walk away.

Yah.. always good to use your brain before jumping into anything Even if it means you might lose out on something. Like Cross said, get as much info as you can.

Can't tell you how many times I've missed out, but I've yet to post on this forum about how someone ripped me off. *knock on wood*
