going through some bins at work I came across this tiny SSD. I haven't seen a SATA connection this small before, or even an SSD this small. Nobody seems to know where it came from. Is there a cable that would hook that up to a normal sized SATA header on a motherboard?

micro-sata perhaps?

Edit: including a pic or the text from the drive's white label may also help.

looks like its this and you would need something like this to use it in a normal computer.

That is micro-sata, you typically find it in Lenovo small-form factor Laptops, like X60/X61 Tablets, for example...

Like someone above has mentioned.

All of the standard SATA Slimline Optical Drives make use of that as well, and you can easily get the cables of ebay....single connector, with data and power cables connected, or the adapter that was mentioned a bit higher up.

is the performance the same as with sata data transfer wise?
