Dirty nasty ass ear cushions ..

I just ordered replacements for my HD650's , they are down right fugly.



Long overdue. Anyone else got some cushions that need replacing? I can't be the only one.
 
I'm replacing pads... by buying a used set of HD598s and brand new LCD-2 and D7000 :D

Now if all of this shit would just arrive...

P.S. WTS Denon D5000!

EDIT: I guess I am actually as I bought a used set of G-Cush for my Grados to try them out now and after they go woody.

These just arrived from the postman and they are comically large. They look that way in pictures but you don't really get the scale until they dwarf the entire headphone assembly. I think if I'm going to enjoy the comfort these offer over the L-Cush pads I'm going to need to tape them up to prevent the bass dissipating.

That would be my Little Dot MK III sitting on top of my brand new Burson HA-160D :D

So far I think the Grados still really need the tube warmth (distortion), but everything else I've tried so far sounds phenomenal through the Burson.
 
Those are comically large. My HD650's pads just shipped today and I should get them between Wed-Thurs time frame. I can't wait. My current ones feel nasty.
