How long should it take to build a 900GB (4 x 300GB) RAID5 array using a good add-in card?

It looks like 4-5 hours, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

That sounds about right. My Areca card with 5x250GB drives takes 3 hours exactly
 
Which Areca card? The card I have is the ARC-1210. I'm wondering if total size is the limiting factor or size of each disk?
