Well guys it that time for me again the I have decided to get something new

My current setup is

SN41G2BV2
2500+ @ 3200+ 400mhz FSB
1 GB Mushkin Level 1 DDR 400 2-2-2-5
BB ATI R9800pro 128mb
80GB Maxtor HD 7200rpm 8mb Cache

So I sold the shuttle and the 2500+ and now i need a processor, motherboard, psu and case....

I was thinking

CASE- Lian Li PC61-B or CoolerMaster Predetorian (Black)
PSU- Antec Neo Power 480W
PROCESSOR- A64 3000+ S754 or A64 3000+ S939
MOBO- No clue but I want something stable and overclockable !
HSF- No clue something on the quiet side and good performing...

I will use my 9800Pro ( Until HL2 dosnt come out mid upgrade it then) my 1GB of DDR 400 and my Hard Drive

So what do you guys reccomend ? Budget is $600 give or take 50$

not bad. for the hsf go with the zalman 7000a-cu or something. forget what it's called.
and if you go 939 there's only like a few mobos, but 754 has more.

also keep in mind that 754 doesn't support dual channel. so if that's something that floats your boat keep it in mind.

Abit KV8 Pro is a great board (at least I like mine a lot) and you can get it in either 754 or 939 versions.
