Ok Ive been running a 260 GTX for years now. I recently rebuild my pc and replaced it all except the Video card.

i7 2600k
16gigs ram
p8 z68 v pro mb etc

Im running a Westy 32" monitor ( which rocks btw) coupled with a 20" side monitor for holding webpages while I game etc.

Well needless to say the 260 runs HOT and gaming is less then stellar. Ive been waiting for the new Nvidia cards to come out but Ive yet to see a regular option.

Any idea, is a new version of the 560 ti coming soon? or a 570 gtx. I really want a newer Nvidia card due to power consumption and heat.

thanks

btw budget = less then 400

Well I don't imagine a lot more is going to happen with the 500 series now that 600 has launched..

My post is meant to mean when will the 600 series versions of the 560 ti and 570 gtx release if they have not already...

If we are extremely lucky like end of May, but probably 1-3months away from what people seem to be saying. Who knows...

Well latest rumor mill says May 10th release for the 660 Ti and 670, but I guess it can be anywhere between 1 week and 2 months. I'd be surprised if they aren't launched by the end of May.

Why don't you get a 7950? Those cards rock out about 5% diff with a 7970 and are under 400 (I've seen one 370$)
