Well its summer and Im bored so I want to get a project case. One that I can mod the  out of. I have my heart set on this case by Compucase. For $39.00 its got 120mm fans in front and back, rail system for the 5.25 drives, 2 removable 3.5in drive bays, and (IMO) looks great....with the help of some paint of course it could look 100x better. But for 39 bucks can you guys come up with anything better?

I say just do it. You got a good base, and you know you'll have to modify it to completely meet your requirements. So just don't think about it too much and get to work. You should be more concerned with the end result than the virgin case.
