Is TigerDirect a good place to shop? They have a store in Raleigh just never checked them out.
 
If the price is right for whatever your looking for, don't hesitate.
They are a legitimate, very popular online etailer.
 
I'm currently in a dispute with them over a large purchase I made that I told paypal to use my CC, but apparently for some unknown reason it went to my WAMU instead which is VERY inconvenient.

I wish they had a standard checkout!!!
 
I bought my vid cards there, no problems.
They have international shipping, and i paid via wire transfer
 
They bought out the local CompUSA store near me. I havent been in there yet to see what, if anything, has changed.
 
i go to the real tigerdirect stores to buy my stuff now. The warehouse is 1 hour away from me =] so i just go there and can get ANYTHING on there site that day. instead of waiting 4 days for my stuff to be shipped from newegg! The non warehouse store is 20 minutes away from me so im good. By the way none of the stores i go to are EX- compusa.. they are real tigerdirecf stores.

So, there legit and good.

Got my 8800 gt from them for $220.. 189 after rebate
and my 500w psu..
 
I've bought products from Tigerdirect in the past. I personally only shop Newegg now, occassionally i'll buy from ZipZoomFly, but newegg ftw. Tigerdirect is a good company, their prices are a bit higher, but they do have good customer service as well. It wouldn't hurt to check out the store, would it? ;) :)
 
Heard tigerdirect is fine, but don't go with their rebates as their rebate center sucks. Not a personal experience though.
 
I like TigerDirect. Go ahead and don't hesitate to order. Granted, I do prefer NewEgg, but TD is better for having things sent to Canada so I make sacrifices :p
