Since it's TD and they <3 rebates, something tells me the price will be $600-$200 MIR for the e6600.

Does it mean be on that webpage or jsut on the tigerdirect site in general?

ohhhh im so tempted to buy.... no .... must wait for price drops ahhhh :(

Is this just a ploy to release the X6800 tomorrow with a $200 markup and then the rest of the line won't be out until August 7th from TD?

I'll bet this is how it will happen...seems to be the trend from what I've seen from larger retailers.

I have a feeling that TD is going to put the C2D processors on their site for pre-order at 3pm. :p

well, cant blame the retailers, they'd be idiots not to exploit the not-too-money-smart enthusiast community during big product launches, since they *know* that they will sell to these fools.

funny thing is, the AMD guys will blame intel for the way the retailers are behaving. Conroe is such a hot product that gouging will definately be through the roof. I'll bet any money that the K8L launch wont be nearly as hotly anticipated, hence there will be lesss retailer gouging and prices will settle much faster, thus making it seem like AMD is the "better company"

I placed an "In Stock" order from Tigerdirect this week.

Of course they stuck me on backorder immediately.
