My stupid puter is overheating left and right. If it's not the CPU it's the video, if it's not the video it's the Raptor creating heat in the case if it's not the raptor it's the lack of decent 80x80x25mm fans

WHAT AM I GUNNA DO?!?!?!?!

3200+, lanparty Ultra B, PC4000 OCZ, 9800pro 256MB, 36.7GB Raptor, fan controller with 4 channels - 3 case fan slots in case, i guess the other would be CPU...

thats my setup in the heat/cooling department. here are my materials to work with:

-SLK-900A - temps are high - need help on how to install it correctly
-92mm Tornado - last resort - if i mount this fan on the SLK then i can't have rear case fans (and thats 2 outta my 3 fan spots not useable)
-80x80x25mm Tt Smart Fan II
-80x80x25mm Sunon Tornado

I want to buy new:
Case
Fans
Heatsinks{s}
Thermal Compound if AS5 sucks

suggestions?

First of all, I would suggest a more appropriate title. I was expecting something about how your girlfriend decided to dump you and now you want to jump off a bridge.
 
Now, getting on to the real problem...

How do you know your problems are heat related? What did you use to measure temperatures?

Hey hey hey, jokes are one thing, but overheating isn't something to be joking about. :D

Perhaps a high flow 120mm fan + 80-->120 adapter might help keeping th case cool?
 
He's right though, also because swearing in titles is not allowed... and "piss" may not be considered a swear word by all, but you have to draw the line somewhere.



So what exactly IS the problem here? Overheating CPU? What temps, and what happens?
