I currently have a Geforce4 ti 4400 card and I tried xp 64 the other day, but apparently nVidia doesn't have support for this card in xp 64 :(
http://www.nvidia.com/object/71.84_winxp64_supported.html
Anyone know if they will be coming out with 64bit drivers for this line of cards when xp64 officially comes out?

If not, I'm looking to upgrade. I need a card roughly $150-250 -- 256mb.. dual output.. ability to decode mpeg2 (at least play HDTV video smoothly).

My processor is an athlon 64 3200+

Shame you won't feed that A64 with a nice current offering gpu. :( Kinda like buying a big German Shepherd Dog and then feeding it only water....

Just my opinion. Looking around, I couldn't find a GF4 driver for that os. Good luck.

Looking for a upgrade? For that price, probably a Geforce 6600 GT would be your best bet. :)

I hacked the nv4_disp.inf files with 2 lines from the 32bit drivers for my 4400 card and it works. Someone else said it worked for their 4600 -- thought you'd like to know. Haven't run any benchmarks or games though, but windows interface is snappy

they will probably come out with 64 bit drivers for that card eventually

windows x64 is still freakin new man

It was released to manufacturing over a week ago... it's final.

No it's more like getting a nice hunting dog and making it chase its tail....
