I have this z77a--g43 MSI mobo and always had this software installed where i could turn on its crystalizer. It made music sound twice as good. Its now nowhere to be found anywhere online. What do people use to get a crystalizer effect turned on on their onboard audio?

Actually, SBX TruStudio Pro (the Creative-branded successor) still includes Crystallizer functionality - it's a carryover from the similar software that was included with the original X-Fi in PCI. (I'd know because I crossgraded from the low-profile X-Fi XtremeGamer to my current Recon3D Fatality, and from PCI to PCI Express x1, and because the software changed not at all, I had zero *learning curve* as far as using the software itself went. Crystallizer settings are between the TruStudio Pro application and Scout Mode settings in the software control panel.)

Install the driver from your motherboard manufacturer's page, not the Realtek site. That should get you the THX control panel back including the Crystalizer functionality.
