Hi,
I bought XPS 9570 which has Thunderbolt 3 port with power delivery function.
I also have LG 27UD88W monitor which can source power to TB3 devices.
So now with one cable I can replace:
- USB cable between notebook and monitor USB hub
- DP/HDMI cable
- power adapter of my laptop.
The problem I am facing is that I work 10-11 hrs. My notebook is connected to AC at that time.
Can it harm my battery life?
Is there inbuilt battery "overprovisioing" so the battery in fact is charged max to 80% ?
Anyone has some insight in the matter?
