Just wanted to publicly thank the Galaxy representative on this board for awesome customer service. I bought a Galaxy GTX 460 1GB GC back in July, but didn't have the chance to use it till late August. I noticed that it started downclocking itself to 405mhz if I gamed for a while, and only a restart would fix it. From what I read that's an issue with the VRMs overheating, and I personally couldn't do anything to fix it.

I contacted the Galaxy rep here and he was extremely helpful in both helping me try to figure out what the problem was and also getting the RMA set up. The RMA got a little delayed, and he cross-shipped me a replacement card with a return label without me even asking for it! Really happy with Galaxy's service.

Thanks again Galaxy rep! :D

that is very good service...
how did yo get a hold of the rep? through galaxy website or here on hardocp?

Hmm in the process of buying 2 480's Ill keep that in mind. Thanks

Don't shy away from them. I bought two Galaxy GTX 480s and I'm happy with them. I haven't heard anything bad about their support since Fermi's launch, and their presence on [H] is important to me.

I've been buying EVGA for the last three generations but I decided I wanted to try something different, a new company, this time around.

My only complaint, as minor as it is, would be Galaxy's lack of a forum for Galaxy owners to share information on support, overclocking, etc. Maybe it's not that important, since anyone reading this typically hang out on a hardware forum, but EVGA's forum is epic.

Maybe I'm beating a dead horse. I left this in my feedback on newegg and I've brought it up numerous times in Galaxy-related posts on [H]... I probably won't bring it up in the future.

I was one of the lucky ones that was able to purchase the 470 from fry's for 250 and I have already received both of the rebates I sent off for. I've been really pleased with the performance of my $440 470 SLI. Great company all around it seems.

Same. I had to have one of my gtx480s replaced and he setup advance/cross-shipping for me. Really glad I went with them over EVGA (hardocp rep + $373 per 480 wasnt bad)

Wack your old power supplies together 3 times and I appear

Or a PM will work too....

I had a trouble-free, cool and quiet G92 8800GTS512 from Galaxy as well. I wouldn't shy away from them on a future purchase...
